Project Proposal
1. Project Background
In recent years, Northern Thailand—especially Chiang Mai—has seen a growing number of vulnerable populations due to economic pressure, regional conflicts, and migration issues.
1) Myanmar Refugee Families
Due to the ongoing instability in Myanmar, many families have been forced to leave their homes and seek survival opportunities in Northern Thailand. However, most refugees lack legal work status and stable sources of income.
As a result, many families face extremely difficult living conditions, including:
Unstable or very low income
Poor living environments
Insufficient access to basic food supplies
2) Elderly People Living Alone
In communities around Chiang Mai, there are also many elderly people who live alone because their children have moved away for work or they lack family support.
Many of them rely on small government subsidies or occasional help from neighbors to survive.
They often face challenges such as:
Insufficient income for daily living
Declining health conditions
Lack of social care and companionship
Therefore, establishing a sustainable food support program is of great importance in helping these families and elderly individuals get through difficult times.
2. Project Vision
The vision of this project is to establish a sustainable community food care platform that connects compassionate resources with people in need.
Through this platform, vulnerable families can receive basic living support during difficult times, while fostering a culture of mutual care and compassion within the community.
3. Project Goals for 2026
